Bio:

I'm a PhD student writing a dissertation on medieval gender and cultural history. My research interests center on women's experiences in the medieval and early modern periods, with a particular focus on social constructions of conduct and physical appearances. While pursuing my PhD, I also completed graduate certificates in Women's and Gender Studies and Cultural Resource Management through the Public History Program at WVU. I've been teaching for the Center for Women's and Gender Studies since I was a master's student and I really love getting to know my students in our discussion-based classes. I teach the introductory Women's and Gender Studies course along with courses on feminist theory, medieval women mystics, and women's health and wellness.
