Rose Heater
Rose Heater is an incoming MSW student. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from WVU-Parkersburg in 2011. She has spent the last 10 years living and working in Morgantown as a music and arts educator. She has taught both privately and in group settings at PopShop WV, Fairmont State University, and Zenclay Pottery Studio. She is the director of Girls Rock! Camp WV and Proud Sounds WV, two rock camps tailored toward girls, young women, and LGTBQIA+ youth. She is also a longtime volunteer at On Eagles’ Wings, a therapeutic horsemanship center in Fairmont, WV. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her two dogs, Frida and Frank
